This term’s Music Festival was a joyful celebration of the musical learning and development that has taken place across the school this year. From the bright sound of trumpets and the gentle tones of recorders to the upbeat rhythm of ukuleles, children showcased an impressive range of instruments and musical skills. The event was expertly led by the Showcase Music team, who work weekly with our pupils to nurture their love of music and support their musical growth.
A standout feature of this year’s festival was the introduction of ensemble performances by Year 6. These collaborative pieces, new to the curriculum, highlighted the progress and commitment of our oldest pupils. Their final performances were a true testament to their hard work, musical maturity, and ability to perform together as a cohesive group.
We were committed to involving the whole school and made sure every child had the opportunity to contribute to the event. One particularly special moment was hearing our Pip & Pap theme tune sung with such joy and confidence—bringing a real sense of unity and pride to the occasion.
We feel incredibly lucky to benefit from the expertise of the Showcase Music team, whose ongoing support enriches our curriculum. A heartfelt thank you to all parents and families for your kind words and encouragement—it was wonderful to receive so much positive feedback. With such a successful event behind us, we’re already turning our thoughts to Music Fest 2026!
