Year 5 and 6 Library Trip:

Our Year 5 and 6 pupils had a great time today on their visit to Lymington Library!

The children loved having the chance to browse the shelves and enjoy some quiet reading time. They also found out lots about how the library works – from borrowing books to understanding the library systems and all the different things on offer. There are plenty of activities planned for the summer break - do look out for more information coming soon!

One of the highlights of our trip was definitely the scavenger hunt! It was a fun way to explore the library, and everyone got stuck in! Lots of children also borrowed books to take home, which was lovely to see - it was brilliant to see how many of our children have a Hampshire Libraries card!

A huge thank you to the team at Lymington Library for being so welcoming and helpful. We had a brilliant time and can’t wait to come back again soon!

We will be welcoming Lymington Library in to school next week, as they launch the "Summer Reading Challenge!"
