Year 2 & 3 prayer blog

Recently, Year 2 & 3 have been focusing upon supporting each other and thinking about how we show Jesus’ love and light in the way we support others.

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

John 8:12

Dear God,

Help us to look after one and other,

help us to provide support to those who need our help.

Help us to help those that need your guidance.

Beam light where darkness exists, into the darkest corners and places.

May we be guided by your shining light.

Amen

Jesus, you are the light of the world.

You shone despite the darkness,

you gave hope in times of toughness.

Give us courage and strength when we feel weak.

In your name Jesus,

Amen.
