Year 5 Astronomy Day:
To further our learning about space, Year 5 held an exciting Astronomy Day! Pupils came in dressed as astronauts, scientists, and stars of the space age, bringing our classroom to life with creativity and curiosity.
As part of the day, the children researched famous astronauts and scientists throughout history, including pioneers like Galileo Galilei, who helped shape our understanding of the universe, and Neil Armstrong, the first person to walk on the Moon. They explored key contributions to astronomy and space exploration, developing a deeper appreciation of how science has evolved over time. We very much enjoyed their presentations!
It was a brilliant day of learning, imagination, and fun!
