OWWL and the Kindness Kiosk

Mrs Rothwell has been busy in OWWL today, working with pupils to dig up our giant courgettes!

Our garden beds have exploded with courgettes... far more than we could use in the school kitchen! We have gifted them to the Pennington 'Kindness Kiosk', opposite the school -please feel free to take some.

We hope the local community enjoy the"fruits" of our labour! (We learned today that a courgette is actually a fruit, as it develops from the flower of the plant!)
